I was getting back into the swing of this blogging thing, and then I started slacking again. I am disappointed in myself. It's just so easy to not do it, and I don't like that. I will do more. I will get back to daily, with a few breaks interspersed. I also need to make more video blogs. I owe some people on YouTube a few special thanks, and I will start working on them tomorrow. I won't have them finished tomorrow, but they will be in the works.
I took my second online test on Saturday, and the deal was that I would get a new laptop if I got an A. I got an 89 percent. GAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! I am hoping that once the teacher goes over everything, she will find a mistake in the system and my grade will go up. One point. One. Freaking. Point. Fingers crossed.
This past week, we got a few members of the old daycare gang back together. My mom, David, Emily, Sean, and I all went to this cool little place called Kristof's. It's got a huge arcade, a bowling alley, pool tables, mini golf, batting cages, and go-karts. It is all very cool. We opted to do the mini golf thing followed by a round of go-karts. The highlight of the mini golf was David's ball hitting mine and knocking it into the hole, giving me a hole in one on a technicality. Pretty funny. But the best part was the go-karting. My mom sat out of the go karts, God knows why. I accidentally spun Sean out once, but otherwise it went smoothly. I did soundly better than everyone else, but honestly, that's probably because I've been driving actual cars over 2 years longer than David, and Emily and Sean are too young to drive at all. I love go-karts. There is something thoroughly therapeutic about them, and I miss them. I will make attempts to go back several times throughout the summer.
Speaking of vehicles, I have outgrown my old bike by a long shot, and even it still fit me, it does not accept storage devices. Therefore, I've been looking at bikes and saddlebags for bikes, because I do not plan on owning a car for a very long time, and I need something to do errands in this coming school year. Being in an apartment means more things to be done, but it will be totally worth it. Plus, there's the exercise to be had. That's groovy. We think we have a good idea of what I will need, and there are some reasonably priced things e have in mind. I will let you know when we have made a decision.
Sorry about the slacking. I will get better. I will.
