I made some omelets this morning for breakfast. Well, not exactly. First, I made a pile of scrambled eggs, sausage slices, and shame. Then I made an omelet. It was tasty.
Today was the men's ritual at my church. Every year, when the young men go through their Affirmation and come of age, we have a special gathering. (Affirmation is my faith's equivalent of confirmation, for those of you not versed in Unitarian Universalism.) It's not for all the men in the church, pretty much just for the relatives, mentors, and close friends of the boys who are coming of age, as well as a few of the men who do it every year. My cousin Kenny is going through his Affirmation this year, so myself and my father went this year. It was the first time going to the ritual since my own Affirmation year, and it was cool to experience it from the other side of the ritual. Congrats to my cousin on this time in his life, and good luck to him in all things.
Tomorrow will be a good day.
Thing I like about the past 24 hours: Morning omelets. Yum.
Thing I dislike about the past 24 hours: Not getting Long John Silver's. I've been craving a chicken plank from there for some reason, and I was hoping to get it tonight, but I didn't. Oh well.
Song addiction of the day: "Chacarron." It's so very weird, but I can't quit watching it.
Number of caffeinated beverages in the past 24 hours: 0.
