So I had more issues mowing the lawn today. I encountered another dead bird, which was admittedly not nearly as unpleasant as a dead squirrel, but still not a lot of fun. But the bird was not the main thing that bothered me this time. It was the fact that the dang lawn mower broke.
Our lawn mower is adjustable, capable of leaving 5 different lengths of grass. You have to adjust each wheel independently, and one of the wheels broke, leaving it moving freely between all 5 lengths. Of course, it didn't do this as I was adjusting the wheels to start mowing. It did this about halfway through the mowing of the back yard, leaving me with the task of mowing the lawn with a constantly adjusting lawn mower. Fun.
On the brighter side of things, I got a cheap subscription to Game Informer (a gaming magazine), with the added benefit of a 10 percent increase on the return of any games, systems, or system accessories that I sell to GameStop, and a 10 percent decrease on prices for purchasing used games. So that's pretty cool.
That's all for now, home slices.
Thing I like about the past 24 hours: The subscription's groovy.
Thing I dislike about the past 24 hours: Mowing issues. This lawn has it out for me, I swear...
Song addiction of the day: "How To Save A Life" by the Fray.
Number of caffeinated beverages in the past 24 hours: 1.
