So, I've got the TV and the PlayStation hooked up in my room now. Watched two stand-up comedy DVDs on it to celebrate the occasion. Jeff Foxworthy and Jeff Dunham, if you're curious.
And by the way, yes, it is "PlayStation," not "Playstation." Failure to capitalize mid-word when appropriate annoys the crap out of me, I don't know why. Grammar pet peeves...nobody likes them. Please, folks, remember your PlayStations and YouTubes.
Dad and I went out to get groceries today. I bought lots of juices and fruits and vegetables and healthy things and was proud of myself for it. Then I bought a large loaf of hard-crust wheat bread and missed my friends from school. We would periodically buy a big loaf of bread just like that one and pass it around, breaking it and sharing it. It was a very cool, Old World kind of bonding experience, and as I ate some of that bread today, I couldn't help wishing I was back in Ohio with them. Hopefully I will get to see them at some point this summer.
I think that's all for today. Stay frosty.
Thing I like about the past 24 hours: Getting some good food in the house.
Thing I dislike about the past 24 hours: Falling asleep on the couch and waking up late in the night, groggy, and realizing I still have to write this blog.
Song addiction of the day: "Citizen Soldier" by Three Doors Down. Another one from my power ballad phase.
Number of caffeinated beverages in the past 24 hours: 0.
