Saturday, May 2, 2009: Essentially Still Saturday

Okay, it's technically Sunday now where I am. But you know how your "day" kind of begins when you wake up and ends when you go to sleep? Yeah, I'm going by that logic with this blog. The clock says "Sunday", my sleep schedule says "Saturday." Dispute if you like. I won't listen.

So tomorrow I will probably seeing X-Men Origins: Wolverine. That should be excitingly awesome, and I look forward to it greatly.

Last night we had a session of Nerf Wars, which is kind of like paintballing with Nerf guns and different types of missions involved. It was the first time I had done it, and it was great fun. I look forward to future games.

Today, we got bored during the evening and played an impromptu one-session D&D game, and it was awesome. Simple, fun, lots of slices and kabooms. I essentially played an evil version of one of my characters, and by doing so, was able to create an explanation for the good version of that character's existence. That was pretty friggin' awesome.

Thing I like about the past 24 hours: All the awesome stuff I have been doing with friends. It makes me happy that I am getting some final fun times with them before leaving for the summer.

Thing I dislike about the past 24 hours: Trying to build a Nerf Maverick from spare parts taken from old, broken Mavericks, and being one friggin' piece short.

Song addiction of the day: "John McCain and His Vegetable Friends." Okay, this one is just as much about the video as the music, maybe more so. But I like it. Watch it.

Number of caffeinated beverages in the past 24 hours: 3. Yeah, I was bad today.
